RESULTS OF THE WINTER TIMETABLE 2024/25 AND ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE SUMMER TIMETABLE 2025 AT ZAGREB AIRPORT
After exceeding 4 million passengers for the first time in 2024 and reaching a total traffic of 4.3 million passengers, Zagreb Airport maintained the growth trend in 2025. In the first quarter and the second part of the winter timetable, passenger traffic increased by 8%. This strong traffic in winter timetable shows the importance of Zagreb in connectivity during low season. Zagreb Airport is ready to enter the summer timetable with the expectation of further growth and expansion of the destination network.
The increase in traffic in the winter timetable 2024/2025 was mainly thanks to Ryanair, which connected Zagreb with 22 destinations. Furthermore, Aegean Airlines, the Greek national airline, increased the number of frequencies on the Zagreb-Athens route, while Pegasus Airlines, the Turkish low-cost airline, further strengthened the connection between Zagreb and Istanbul, with Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Lufthansa, LOT Polish Airlines, Air France and KLM also contributed to the growth trend by using larger aircraft.
