LOT Polish Airlines celebrates 10 years of the Warsaw–Zagreb route

On Wednesday, June 3rd, at Zagreb Airport’s passenger terminal, LOT Polish Airlines marked the 10th anniversary of the relaunch of its direct route between Warsaw and Zagreb, which has been operating continuously since 2016.

Over the past decade, the route has become an important link between the Croatian and Polish capitals, contributing to the growth of both business and leisure travel and strengthening economic ties between the two countries. At the same time, Warsaw has established itself as a key transfer hub for Croatian passengers travelling to numerous European and intercontinental destinations.

The anniversary celebration took place at the departure gate for the Warsaw flight and was attended by representatives of LOT Polish Airlines and Zagreb International Airport. The continued growth in demand is reflected in the airline’s increasing capacity on the route. During the 2026 summer season, LOT will operate up to 12-13 flights per week between Warsaw and Zagreb, further confirming the importance of Zagreb within its route network.

We congratulate LOT Polish Airlines on this significant milestone and look forward to continuing our successful partnership and further strengthening connectivity between Croatia and Poland.
