Opening of the Mediterranean Connections exhibition

The Mediterranean Connections exhibition was officially opened on June 30, in the departures area of the passenger terminal at Zagreb Airport.

This unique exhibition showcases the works of the multidisciplinary glass art studio LONCA from Türkiye, renowned for its handcrafted blown glass made using traditional techniques, alongside Bokart Glass Studio, Croatia’s leading studio specializing in decorative and architectural art glass.
Bokart’s projects span from stained glass and fused glass to the restoration of historic glass elements. Mediterranean Connections highlights the timeless beauty and creative possibilities of glass, celebrating it as both a functional material and a powerful medium of artistic expression.

The exhibition features work by artists Mert Üngör, Jeronim Tišljar, Petar Dolić, and Robert Mijalić.
The opening was attended by many distinguished guests, including the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, Mrs. Nurdan Erpulat Altuntaş, as well as artists and visitors from both countries. The exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Istanbul and Zagreb Airport.
