This year’s Grand PRix of The Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ) once again confirmed how essential high-quality, responsible, and strategically driven communication is in shaping the business, social, and public landscape. At the 19th edition of this leading professional award in communications in Croatia, held on Wednesday, April 15, a total of 20 awards were presented across seven categories - three gold, four silver, and thirteen bronze.
The Grand PRix, awarded by HUOJ since 2007, brings together leading experts, agencies, and companies in the field of public relations, recognizing projects with measurable impact and a clearly defined communication strategy.
In this context, projects implemented within the premises of our airport also hold a prominent place, having been recognized and awarded by the profession this year. The Museum Zone project, developed in collaboration with The Croatian National Historical Museum, received the Bronze Grand PRix in the category of multi-stakeholder and cross-sector collaboration. Located on the third floor of the passenger terminal, the Museum Zone introduces a new dimension to the airport experience through the exhibition concept “Stars of Croatian History: The Sky is Their Limit. Get to Know Them!”, presenting the country’s rich heritage to passengers in a contemporary and accessible way.
Additional recognition was awarded to the project “Music That Travels Further”, organized by Croatian Music Institute, which received the Silver Grand PRix in the category of social impact and sustainability. As part of this initiative, the passenger terminal has been enriched with the “Piano of Hope,” located on the second floor in the Departures area, offering passengers a direct experience of music and contributing to a warmer, more human-centered atmosphere.
These recognitions affirm the continuous development of the airport as a space that goes beyond its primary function, evolving into a platform for cultural, social, and sustainable initiatives. By integrating content that connects art, history, and travel, the overall passenger experience is further enhanced, while strengthening Zagreb Airport position as a modern and socially responsible hub.
